Should I hire a car in Ithaca?
Ithaca might be one of the small Ionian Islands but if you want to see its beautiful beaches and all the picturesque villages scattered in the north and the south part of the island, hiring a car is your best option. There is no bus service and it would cost you less to hire a car even for a day than to get a taxi to get to a village and back.

What to do in Ithaca.
There are a lot of beautiful traditional villages in Ithaca, starting with Vathy - the capital of the island, to Kioni with its beautiful tavernas, little cafes and bars. Stavros where you can see the statue of Odysseus and Anogi where you can enjoy breathtaking views are also a must see. There are so many little hidden gems which we will be happy to share with you and make your holidays unforgettable.
Can I take my car rental to Kefalonia?
Kefalonia is a gorgeous island only 20 minutes away from Ithaca. As the car insurance doesn't cover you outside of Ithaca, taking your car there is not possible. We do however work with a car rental company in Kefalonia so we would be happy to arrange a car for you there.
